What's new on Parkour Masters
The latest changes to the Parkour Masters server, newest first: 150 changes since Oct 8, 2026, from Foxcraft's changelog. Older changes are in the full changelog (opens in a new tab) on the Foxcraft forum.
- A player who loses a world record during their own run and takes it back at the finish now gets the record in their logbook, and the player they took it from is told they lost it.
- Golden Helm and Leather Cap hats now show on the head for Bedrock players.
- Hats no longer protect you from falling blocks and anvils.
- Clicking another player's pack-opening message in chat now opens your own packs.
- Runs from Minecraft versions older than 1.17 no longer go on the leaderboards or set records, because those versions see some blocks differently; they still earn XP and count as completions.
- Fail the same jump 10 times in a row and you let out a scream that you and players near you hear (once, until you get past that jump). You can turn it off in /fp settings.
- Added bard and assassin chestplates, leggings and boots as parkour cosmetics.
- If the stats, time trial, card or replay screens fail to open after loading, you now get an error message instead of being left on the loading screen. A failed lookup of skill-matched time trial opponents also shows an error instead of saying there are not enough opponents.
- Hats on helmets are now looks only: they no longer give armour, knockback resistance, water breathing or other helmet effects during runs.
- Builders can place at most 2,000 ability blocks on one map; maps that already have more keep them. Personal-best replays whose recording was lost no longer show up as broken replays.
- A playlist now keeps your total time when you pick it up again in the same visit after a pause or a refused move to the next map, and WorldEdit changes in build mode now need a new test run before publishing, like hand-placed blocks.
- Added ten animal balloons, ten new backpacks, a sulfur balloon, mask and lantern, and bard and assassin helmets in five tiers.
- Record-breaking times now go straight onto the leaderboards again instead of waiting for a staff check.
- Added FoxGear cosmetics: helmets, weapons, chestplates, leggings, boots and elytra skins you can unlock with shards, points, loot packs, levels and prestiges. Hats and helmets now share one Hats & Helmets page, and plushies and weapons one Offhand Items page; they are looks only and never change how you play.
- The chat line for a pack opening now shows a [Packs] tag and the player's prefix, reaches players who hide others on their map, and a burst of top-rarity openings no longer floods chat.
- After a server error, the time trial menu and taking a card off the market now tell you it failed instead of leaving you on the loading screen, saying nobody played the map yet, or saying the card isn't yours.
- Players who keep failing a map are now asked once to rate how hard it is.
- Builders who quit or change worlds while their changes fail to save are no longer left stuck in build mode; their changes are kept for their next build session.
- The Halloween balloons' leads now attach to their strings
- Tag arenas are bigger and full of parkour runs you can jump along from obstacle to obstacle, up to tower height.
- Fixed the party member list on the scoreboard showing in the wrong place, showing old names, or leaving leftover lines.
- Bedrock players no longer see "[Name head]" in front of player names on leaderboard holograms.
- After a rare server error, putting a card on or taking it off the market, opening your stats and deleting a replay now tell you it failed instead of leaving you with no answer, and Bedrock players no longer have party and duel invites held back for 10 seconds afterwards.
- Fixed a rare case where a player who took a map's world record moments before someone else beat it got a logbook entry saying they had lost it to themselves, and the previous holder got none.
- Fixed replays sometimes leaving a stray boat or mount behind, and chained replay phantoms losing or keeping their glow at the wrong moment.
- In chained replays, a partner's phantom now starts with the mount, item and fire their run had when they joined.
- In chained replays, rewinding to before a partner joined no longer leaves them standing still where they joined, and skipping past a partner's restart no longer shows their new boat or horse where the old one was.
- The Map of the Day no longer features a map that can't load, and Elimination no longer picks one for a round.
- When someone opens a loot pack, the rest of the server now sees in chat what they got.
- Bedrock players no longer see "[name head]" in front of player names in chat.
- A Map of the Day that keeps failing to load is now swapped for another map, instead of failing all day.
- Author challenges and Tag Bingo can now come up when challenges are picked right after a restart, and a finished author challenge names its builder.
- On Bedrock, a party invite that arrives while a map is being added to your playlist, or a playlist created, no longer stops your playlist list from coming back; it shows in chat instead.
- The stats screen no longer stays stuck on "Loading" when your player data hasn't loaded, and adding a map collaborator no longer replaces a menu you opened while their name was being checked.
- Setting a world record or being the first to finish a map now earns you a collectible card with your face on it: show it off in your offhand with /fp cards.
- You can now trade your collectible cards with other players: /fp cards trade <player>, pick what you offer, and both confirm.
- Cards earned with runs that staff take back are now marked void and can no longer be traded.
- Right-click a collectible card to see who owns it, who had it before, and to watch the run it was earned for.
- If staff approve someone else's record while you are running the same map, you still get the XP for beating your personal best and for your new leaderboard place. A first finish that waits for a staff check no longer costs you that map's "complete a map you haven't completed before" challenge step.
- A map whose world is missing no longer keeps turning up in browse, random picks and playlists, and asking for it now says its world is missing instead of "try again in a moment".
- New runs on boat, horse, pig and camel maps keep their mount in the replay after riding back onto the start plate, in time trials and after a resume, so their phantoms ride it.
- Phantoms on mace, elytra and trident maps hold their mace, elytra or trident again.
- Daily and weekly challenges no longer ask for maps with a tag that no published map has.
- During a run, /maps and /level now work like /fp maps and /fp level.
- Searching for maps by their builder's name now also finds maps nobody is playing, and the daily and weekly "Fan" challenges for a builder's maps show up.
- On Bedrock, if a list menu can't reload after you tap a sort, refresh, page or pick button, the menu now comes back with the rows it showed before, instead of closing.
- Infinite jukeboxes now loop the Tears, Lava Chicken and Bounce discs. Prestige names with a colour fade no longer show as raw text in some chat lines, menus and Discord posts.
- On Bedrock, a party invite or duel challenge that arrives while a menu is still loading no longer stops that menu from opening; it shows in chat instead.
- Records that beat a map's record by a very wide margin now wait for a quick staff check before they appear on the leaderboard.
- Fixed Bedrock menus getting stuck on "Loading…" after tapping a celebration or finish sound.
- A newcomer's /play on a starter map that staff are opening no longer opens the map menu over the "being opened" message.
- When the logbook can't load, it now keeps showing the entries you were looking at and says it couldn't load.
- You can now pick your own map finish sound in /fp settings, from a set of jingles or none at all.
- Your parkour.gg page link now shows up once you have finished or built a published map, so it no longer leads to an empty page.
- Fixed runs on boat maps sometimes failing with "you teleported" after using Reset or the checkpoint item.
- Fixed //set failing for map builders on some blocks, such as deepslate and packed ice.
- New players now see Beginner and Easy maps first in Most played, Highest rated and other map lists, and can switch back to every difficulty with /fp browse all-difficulties.
- New players are no longer sent past the tutorial into harder starter maps after a failed teleport, and the loot pack reminder now waits until the welcome menu is closed.
- New players who keep falling at the same spot on the starter maps can now skip ahead to the next checkpoint for free; that run just won't count for the leaderboard.
- After finishing a map, new players get a short list of easy maps most players finish to pick their next one, plus a button to open their free welcome pack.
- Waiting alone in the duel queue? After a short wait you now race a ghost automatically until a real opponent joins, and you can turn this off in your settings.
- Bedrock players who miss the welcome screen when they first join Parkour now get it again, and are told how to start if they close it.
- Fixed a rare freeze that could take the parkour server down while it checked a large map for its automatic tags.
- Bedrock players can now see the full 3D pack opening that Java players get, and Bedrock menus have easier-to-read titles and buttons.
- Fixed resumed and live runs sometimes keeping a checkpoint they never reached after a map's checkpoints were changed.
- Bonus packs earned past the top level can no longer be paid twice or lose XP when saving them hits an error, and report XP owed from an earlier report in a series is still paid after staff delete a report in the middle of it.
- Builders no longer lose a difficulty-change alert about their map across a server restart, and the alerts about one finish arrive in a clearer order.
- Players moved off a map by staff for editing now carry on their playlist when they play it again, and every way back onto the map waits until it has opened instead of failing.
- Opening loot packs on Bedrock is quicker, and when it's done a screen lists what you got with a button to open the next pack.
- Discord posts about level-ups, prestiges, duels and personal bests now link to parkour.gg, and new-map posts show the map's card. /fp stats shows your tier on the parkour.gg skill ladder, and you're told when you reach the next one.
- Tapping Accept on a party invite form after already joining that party now says you're in it, and the logbook tells you when it couldn't load.
- Chat now links to parkour.gg when your world record is beaten, when a builder's map gets a new alert, after level-ups, prestiges and duel wins, and when you finish a public playlist.
- Your Red vs Blue and Parkour stats now show in the hub's game menu.
- The Recent Updates boards in the hub and Parkour lobby now show every line of the latest update instead of one cut-off line.
- The Recent Updates holograms and /updates now show the latest updates from updates.mcfoxcraft.com instead of the old forum changelog, and Parkour and OneBlock announce new updates in chat.
- Chat messages now show short parkour.gg links you can type, like parkour.gg/map/k7mx, and players who see a shared map also get a link to its page.
- Fixed a head start in time trials.
- Staff opening a busy map with Edit now no longer pull players back into it before it has loaded, and the line players get now points to the right map. The night map tag also counts checkpoints that set their own night time.
- A party invite can be accepted or declined by the name of the player who sent it even after they leave the party, and the Bedrock invite form accepts it then too. After a relog, /fp resume brings back every filter of the last browse session.
- Map creators now hear about a vote that changed their map's difficulty even if they log off right after it, get each "players have beaten your map" milestone once, and aren't told twice after a restart that their map is the Map of the Day.
- Bonus packs earned past the top level are no longer lost when saving them fails, and /fp level now tells you to prestige for your next cosmetic instead of showing "0 XP to go". Report XP owed from an earlier rejected report is now paid when staff accept a later one in the same series, and a level-up no longer swaps out a cosmetic you picked for a different slot.
- Ender pearls from a map count properly at the start of a run and in time trials, ghosts no longer stand inside you before a time trial starts, and /fp watchrecord accepts map names and codes.
- Players marked AFK can join the duel or relay queue from a menu again, a relay team whose runners all went AFK gets going when one comes back, and a party invite now answers only to the name of whoever sent it or leads the party.
- Searching maps while browsing now opens the results the first time, /fp resume keeps the filters of your last browsing session even after you log off, and the average time on the scoreboard shows right away.
- Fixed a few build mode, search and party build edge cases, among them a kept build draft that came back after it was reported lost, map codes not found by search right after a restart, and night and rain map tags not following a time or weather change.
- Map creators now hear when their map becomes the Map of the Day and when players' votes change its difficulty. A locked block in the build Tool Bag now says which rank it comes with.
- Party chat now stays on after a quick reconnect, XP earned past the top level on your last prestige now pays bonus loot packs, and your next unlock now points at the next prestige's hat after you prestige.
- The XP line for climbing a map's podium now says the place you came from, a report accepted after an earlier one was turned down now pays its XP, and Back from duel history or settings goes where you came from.
- In build mode, a party leader who discards while another builder is still working on the map is now told the changes stay with that builder, and that builder is told too.
- Elimination lobbies no longer lock you out: play other maps while you wait, and a tie or a game everyone else left is decided fairly. The checkpoint relay now works on live, shows a results screen with every leg's time, and relay and Red Light wins earn XP.
- Your run's timer now starts when you leave the start plate, and falling into the void sends you back much sooner. Leaving with practice mode on no longer loses your checkpoint.
- Bedrock builders can leave Fly-cam again, and sneaking stops watching a player in Elimination. Punching phantoms and hitting leaderboards work again, and spectating a phantom now follows it and tells you how to stop.
- You can now type /fp restart (or /reset) right after finishing to run the map again, restarts early in a run no longer ask for confirmation, and /fp resume or a quick reconnect puts you back on the checkpoint you left.
- "Complete N maps" challenges now need different maps, Tag Bingo only picks tags that enough maps have, and dojos compete in a weekly race whose winners earn bonus XP.
- Climbing a map's leaderboard now pays XP even right after your last finish, being first to finish a new map pays a bonus on top of the normal rewards, and XP earned past the top level carries into your next prestige. Report XP is now paid when staff accept the report.
- Map search now finds maps by any of their words, their author or their code, and browse mode tells you whether you've already beaten a map. Random map keeps your filters, following an author from the map list works again, and new maps say "Not rated yet" instead of zero stars.
- Creators now get a chat line when players beat, rate or set a top time on their maps (you can turn it off in settings), and republishing an old map no longer announces it as a new map.
- Time trials now start your clock when you leave the start plate, and checkpoints tell you how far ahead of or behind your best you are. "Watch the record run" now plays the record run instead of starting a race, and a player stuck on one jump is offered a trail showing the way.
- In a playlist, rating a map no longer gets cut off by the next map, and Return to lobby now really stops the playlist. New players who get stuck on a starter map are offered the next easy one, and returning players who haven't finished a map yet get pointed to the easy maps.
- Party leaders now get a warning before moving the party on while friends are still climbing, everyone is told when the party gets a new leader, and Java players can decline party invites.
- Maps now get tags automatically from what they are built with, such as ladders, slime blocks, elytra, ability blocks, portals or a short finish time, so tag filters and tag challenges find many more maps. Builders see these tags marked (auto) and can keep or remove them.
- You can now build your own maps while in a party, and a party leader can choose to build alone. When a map you want to edit is busy, you're told how many players are on it and get a message once it's free.
- Leaving build mode by disconnecting or switching servers no longer takes your published map offline. Unsaved changes in build mode now survive a server crash, and saving a map that would be unpublished asks you first.
- `/fp preview`, `/fp timetrial`, `/fp insights` and `/fp stats` now take a map's name or #code. `/fp top` shows your own place and why a page is empty, and `/parkour` works during a run like `/fp`.
- Every menu you open from the Parkour Hub now has a Back button, and confirmation screens always put Cancel on the left and Confirm on the right.
- Renaming to the name of a party join link you published now tells you that the link only shows your maps until you let players join your party through your address.
- XP boosts now ask before they start and no longer run out while the server is empty. Players without the resource pack see proper items in pack openings and are told how to turn the pack on.
- Ability block cooldowns now read in seconds and change a second at a time with shift-click, and the Tool Bag no longer hands you blocks your rank can't place. Unpublishing from the test-run screen now asks first, and Cancel goes back to Edit map info.
- The cosmetics preview now works with /fp exit and party browsing, locked cosmetics say how to unlock them, and a hat you took off no longer comes back at every level-up. Prestige hats are now announced and put on, and loot packs can give the newest celebrations.
- The Map of the Day now pays a daily bonus for your first finish and counts your days in a row, and a new map takes its place if it goes offline. Finished playlists show as cleared, each map in a playlist shows whether you've done it, and restarting a playlist or removing a map now asks first.
- You can now choose who may challenge you to a duel, and pick the map when you challenge someone from the lobby. AFK players are taken out of the duel queue, and winning a challenge because your opponent left now puts you in spectate instead of leaving you stuck on the course.
- Tag's end-of-match summary reads properly when someone got away, the round 2 role hint no longer flashes the wrong role, and new players no longer get the welcome menu over a game they just joined.
- Increased chunk render distance from 10 > 14 chunks
- When a party leader picks "Discard changes" in build mode, the changes are now really thrown away for the whole party. Before, the last builder sent out with them could save them anyway, which could take a published map offline.
- Prestiging now gives 3 Premium Packs instead of 2.
- Placing or breaking blocks on your map in build mode now counts as changing it: a test run in progress stops counting (you're told once and can go back to the start), and a finished test run has to be done again before you can publish.
- Fixed a case where runs could skip checkpoints after a map was edited during the run.
- Fixed runs on a republished map sending players to the wrong checkpoint after an earlier checkpoint was removed; resume points that no longer match are cleared.
- Maps raised in difficulty now drop back only once their finish rate is 5% above the threshold, stopping constant label flip-flopping.
- Share addresses that no longer lead anywhere now say the link isn't active and suggest what to play instead.
- Trending in Shared Maps now ranks published maps by how many players ran them this week, instead of showing an empty list.
- Fail clips no longer show footage from before a quit after resuming a run, and a fall right after resuming is no longer counted as a time loss.
- Toasts with a very long headline or a blank subtitle now show as a plain title instead of a panel that runs off the screen.
- Dojo members now receive the dojo XP boost shown in the dojo menu on map completions, ratings, challenges and Elimination rewards, and the XP message shows it.
- Players now get extra Premium Packs at levels 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25, and 2 Premium Packs when they prestige.
- Fail clips are now deleted when a map's start, finish or checkpoint plates change, so old clips no longer show a previous course layout.
- Level-up toasts on Minecraft 1.21.4 and 1.21.5 now show a plain title, so the headline stays readable.
- Builders saving a map no longer kick their teammates out of a test run, and a test run now stops counting if the layout changes while it is running.
- The Parkour browse legend now shows the correct whole finish-rate percent, so 29 of 100 finishers reads as 29% instead of 28%.
- Fixed the Parkour resource pack being removed from the local pack list on newer 26.x clients.
- Original backpacks and planet balloons now sit correctly on Bedrock, matching Java.
- Chat emoji like  now show up on Parkour, matching OneBlock.
- Parkour maps that most recent players fail to finish now show a harder difficulty, marked "(by finish rate)".
- Hopping on the start plate after a respawn that kept your progress no longer resets your run or timer.
- Buying a cosmetic in the preview no longer sends you back to the lobby, and running short of Shards now shows a link to the store.
- /fp play now works from browse mode, accepts map links and short codes like #k7mx, and picks the most completed map when names match.
- Completing a Parkour map now shows a title on screen for world records, personal bests, first finishes, level-ups, pack rewards and challenges. Off by default.
- Added a Phantoms menu (/fp phantoms) to choose how many phantoms you see, which runs appear, whether your own best shows, and their audio.
- Right-click a celebration in the menu to preview it, even if you don't own it. The menu now shows owned effects first, with filters and where each one comes from.
- Saving a map in build mode now lists what changed since the last save, and says so when nothing did.
- Map, player and duel pages now link to parkour.gg, with a one-time notice on join. Turn it off in /fp settings.
- Added /fp website hide to ask to be left off the parkour.gg player website, and /fp website show to undo it.
- Players now see a title, sound, and chat reminder on join when they have unopened loot packs, and placeholders show the pack count.
- Backpacks now stay on your back instead of trailing behind when you fall, jump, or move quickly.
- Added eleven new celebrations, with shapes, timed sounds and sequences like a supernova, a meteor shower and a black hole.
- Party games can now be previewed without a party, so you can see what's on offer before you make or join one.
- Empty timed leaderboards no longer reset every 15 minutes, which stopped blank reset history from piling up.
- Balloon leashes now tie onto the balloon's knot instead of ending a little off to the side.
- Fixed world creation sometimes hanging, and the progress menu no longer reopens after closing when a message fails.
- Backpacks now sit on the wearer's back instead of above their head, and planets and balloons hang from their leash points.
